100 Books~
I reached the goal. Feels fantastic. Though a bit anti-climactic, actually— I finished the 100th book while I was downtown two days ago, and I already finished book 101 (Love and Obstacles, by Aleksander Hemon, a bit disappointing, to be honest). But. I did it!
Book reports/recs when I get the laptop back. :D
got any recommendations for a murakami fan who can’t seem to find a replacement for murakami (or maybe coz i don’t know where i should be looking), and is in medschool so leisure reading time is a luxury? :p

“Who will initiate, coordinate, inspire and orchestrate this plot to slay the monster [of poverty]? Leaders. You. All of us here. Men and women who have been schooled to step up and take charge because they have been taught as well when to stand down and surrender their pride and ambition. Men and women, here at the Ateneo, beyond the Ateneo, who have been taught to stand on a hill, between earth and sky, so that they can train their sights beyond themselves and look after the common good, the greater good.”
—Jett Villarin, SJ, during his investiture as president of the Ateneo held September 9, 2011.
