Sembreak 2011 has been a non-stop flurry of happiness and GVs. The Semender was an incredible evening of debauchery at its med-school-deprived finest. Jason Mraz stole my heart, wet my panty, made me temporarily reconsider my sexual preference in an evening of great music, good vibrations and love overflowing from Araneta and pouring out into the streets into the heart of every open person. Praybeyt(?) Benjamin was hilarious. Tags 2 was an awesome day even if only a day, with great people and great music and great vices to amplify the surreality of the beauty of the afternoon (yes, i spell-checked it, there is such a word as “surreality”). I learned how to bake cookies, and hundreds of lanterns hoisted into the sky as wishes and hopes and dreams took my breath away, yesterday evening at Cuenca field. 

Here’s to the last milestone of sembreak happening tomorrow (palarong med; I’m swimming the 50m freestyle event for Ateneo). Manalo, matalo, GVs lang.
