nat!

May 14, 2012

Catch Onofre Pagsanghan’s “Sinta!” on May 25, 2012, at the Dulaang Sibol theater at the Ateneo High School.

This performance will be the last of Josef Machuca, who will be playing Narding, and of Dino Santos, who will be playing Mang Anding. Josef will be migrating to the States, while Dino will be focusing on pursuing his medical studies.

The longest running musical of Sibol and of Philippine Theater, “Sinta!” has been staged regularly and virtually annually since the 70s, usually around February, the month of hearts. It is a transplantation by the great Onofre Pagsanghan, of the off-Broadway show, “The Fantasticks” by Tom Jones and Harvey Schmidt, and “Les Romanesques” by Edmond Rostand. Because of its natural, simple and yet moving charm, people always clamor for tickets every time it is shown. The musical also has this uncanny ability that even the wisest among its fans claim that even after the nth time that they have watched the show, they will always pick up something new. Come and celebrate love with us this 25th of May, and who knows: you might just pick up something new for yourself.

Gates open at 7pm. Tickets are priced at P200, and all proceeds will go to the Sibol-Hesus Foundation, an organization that aims to educate public high school students and help bring them to good colleges.

For tickets and reservations, please contact Dino Santos at +63 917 843 1589. Please also note that reservations are for tickets, and not for the seats themselves, which are first-come-first-serve.

Oh, and don’t forget to bring a loved one. This one’s for holding hands.
